Pharmacological action: testosterone is converted into two hydrotestosterone under the action of 5 - alpha reductase, and two hydrotestosterone can promote the growth and development of the prostate. There are two subtypes of 5 alpha reductase, i. e. type I isozymes and type II isozymes. Among them, type I isozymes have reproductive activity, and type II isoenzymes participate in the transformation of testosterone into skin and liver. This product is a relative specificity of 5 alpha reductase inhibitors, by forming enzyme complex inhibition of type I and type II 5 alpha reductase isoenzymes, inhibit the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT two), and inhibit the generation of male hormone two hydrogen testosterone, thus inhibiting benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients with prostate growth. After 1~2 weeks of 0.5mg, the effect of this product on the reduction of DHT reached the peak, and the plasma DHT could be reduced by 85% to 90%. The patients with prostate enlargement were treated with 5mg daily, and DHT decreased significantly for 12 weeks.
